Whitesnake has canceled their entire summer Farewell Tour.

UPDATE:

According to the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom: "due to a persistent respiratory illness affecting lead singer David Coverdale’s ability to perform, Whitesnake is cancelling their entire summer tour including the upcoming sold out performance at the Casino Ballroom scheduled for August 17th. Refunds will be automatically returned to the purchasing credit card on file."

Original Story:

He's "goin' down the only road [he's] ever known" one more time. Whitesnake with David Coverdale at the helm is hitting the road on their last trek around the world. The Farewell Tour will make a stop at Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom, August 17.

Tickets are on-sale now.

According to Ultimate Classic Rock, current lineup features founder and singer Coverdale, drummer Tommy Aldridge, guitarists Reb Beach and Joel Hoekstra, keyboardist Michele Luppi, multi-instrumentalist Dino Jelusick and bassist Tanya O'Callaghan.

Coverdale told Appetite for Distortion in an interview last year, “make no mistake, this is the farewell tour. I'm 70. It's a very physically challenging thing for me to do at the best of times."
