Forecasters are calling for another round of snow for the Bangor and Downeast areas this week.

The National Weather Service is forecasting another round of snow for much of Maine Thursday. Snow is expected to start in the Bangor area during the morning commute, and continue throughout the day. 3-7 inches of new snow is expected in the Bangor area, with higher accumulations expected to the north. Downeast and coastal areas will see lighter accumulations, where the snowfall is expected to mix with rain.

In addition gusty winds Thursday will create blowing and drifting of snow, leading to difficult travel conditions.
