With Some Love And Patience, This Shy Guy, Bubo, Could Be Your Best Pal
Good things come to those who wait, right? Well, if you have the patience to show this 6-month-old kitten named Bubo that you can be trusted, he might just reward you with the gift of feline friendship for years to come. Described by the folks at the SPCA of Hancock County as "skittish and scared" Bubo's life has been a rough one from the beginning, so you can't really blame this little guy for having his guard up.
However, once our pretty Pet-Of-The-Week deems you more friend than foe, get ready for a little love bug to emerge.
"It has taken a couple of months for his shell to crack open, and now he is willing to show what a love and sweetie he is to those that have taken the time to earn his trust. Bubo would be happiest in a patient, quiet home that is committed to earning his trust slowly through positive reinforcement, like his favorite treats. He adores other cats and would make a wonderful companion for a lonely kitty at home, as he can be playful but sweet."
A home with quick kids and/or impatient pooches would probably not be a good fit for Bubo, but if you're content curling up with a hot cup of tea and a book, this beautiful boy-tabby might just be the buddy you've been looking for. Imagine him cuddled up quietly by your side, looking out the window; a warm little ball of fur and purr, just for you.
