With This Fall Foliage Map You Won’t Miss A Leaf

If you ask me my favorite season, I will always say fall. If your answer would be the same, a few well placed road trips could actually extend the foliage season.

Thanks to the folks from the Smokey Mountains, this interactive map can tell you which direction to head on which day. Sweet!

In the Bangor area, we are looking at October 22-ish. I know that seems like a bit of a ways off but since yesterday was May first in my mind I know it will be here before you know it.

The other cool thing about their site is it covers the science of why leaves turn and has a few fun things for kids to do and color. Personally I don't want to wish my life away, but I confess I can't wait for fall.
