For the longest time when I would complain to my friend and co-workers about testing while we were having a face to face conversation had them convincing me that I was wrong and others didn't care.  Well guess what my friends someone in the room did not have a grasp of the situation and it wasn't me for once. Many of us fine texting during a face-to-face conversation and chatting at the checkouts among the biggest faux pas when it comes to phone etiquette and what bothers us. Here are a few other common things others see as inconsiderate phone usage:

• Carry on phone conversations when making a transaction in a shop, bank or restaurant
• Send more than two texts without a reply - it looks needy
• Use your mobile phone or tablet when eating with family
• Leave caps lock on when texting or emailing - no-one wants to feel like they are being shouted at
• Check your phone constantly when out with someone - give them your full attention
• Overdo it with attention seeking selfies
