In past years, the folks at the Bangor Parks and Recreation Department have found fun ways for families to celebrate the season of Halloween.

They've hosted Halloween Parties at the Parks and Rec Building at 647 Main Street.

They've hosted Touch-A-Truck and Trunk-Or-Treat events as well.

But this year, they've partnered up with the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor and will be livening things up a bit, by hosting a big Halloween Family Dance!

According to their social media post,  the Bangor Parks & Rec Halloween Family Dance will take place on Friday, October 25th. Doors will open at 6:00 PM, and the dance will go from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM.

They plan to have a DJ, photo booth and snacks. Everyone is encouraged to come dressed up for Halloween. There will even be a costume contest for those who attend.

Tickets are on sale now, right at the Bangor Parks & Rec building on Main Street.

For Bangor residents, they're $50 for a family of 4 and $55 for non-residents. For a family of 2, it's $30 and $35. The charge for each additional kid is $15.
