Brewer PD Bee Keeper Aids Duck Of Justice With Bangor Swarm [VIDEO]

Funny thing is I just saw a story the other day about bees swarming to restructure colonies and how we should not hurt them. I thought to myself then, “What if they are in a place where people could get hurt?” Today I got my answer via the Bangor PD's Facebook page when they ran into a swarm on Ohio Street and luckily knew of a Brewer officer who is also a bee keeper.

The woman officer you see here gently taking the bees from harm’s way for their sake and for the sake of Ohio Street residents is Corporal Amy Nickerson. Watch and see if we don’t all agree with Officer Tim Cotton that she is a bee whisperer. Read more about why bees swarm here.  Interesting stuff.
