Down On Their Luck The Doors Did The Music For A Training Video
Just to show you at some point we all gotta pay the bills. I found this little video the Doors did the music for back in 1966 before they ever made a traditional penny from their talents.
It was Rolling Stone that turned my on to this interesting part of the Doors history.
Unceremoniously dropped by their label before they got to record a single note the Doors needed money and time to sort things out. Enter Partheon Pictures and the 'Love Thy Customer' Ford training video. Done very tongue in cheek the guy’s music fits right in and according to the magazine much of it was written on the fly. The video was found in the UCLA vaults and released a few years ago. Priceless.
