Areas Of Ellsworth, Surry & Orland Experiencing Power Outage

Emera Maine is reporting a power outage in west Ellsworth, extending into both Surry and Orland.

As of 10 a.m. a little over 700 customers were currently without power, more than likely from a passing thunderstorm.

Rain and storms should be tapering off later this afternoon to scattered showers, according to the National Weather Service.  Skies will be clear by tonight.

Emera Maine estimates that power will be back on in those areas by 12 noon today.
