Popular Boba Tea Shop Opens Second Location In Brewer
A little over 4 years ago, Fat Panda Boba Tea & Market opened up an Asian goods shop on Harlow Street, nestled next to Gosselin's and Bangor Floral.
For fans of Ramen noodles and Boba Tea, it's been a hotspot in the area specializing in noodles, sauces, drinks, and snacks that you cannot get in most places in Maine.
Apparently business has been going well for the shop, so much so that they opened a second location, right across the river, with very little fanfare, last fall.
Fat Panda 2, as they refer to it, is situated in the Brewer Shopping Center, snuggled between the DaVita Dialysis Center and Rent-A-Center.
Fat Panda 2 carries much of the same things as the original Bangor shop does, but also has some new things to offer like Carrabassett Coffee, Gosselin’s Donuts, and Asian Soft Serve ice cream.
You can check out their Facebook Page for details on when they're open.
This past week, Brewer approved a plan to bring even more new businesses to town. A plan to demolish the Sullivan Tire building on Wilson Street and build a new facility that would contain several new businesses including a new coffee shop.
