Forecasters Predict March Is Coming In Like A Lion

There is a saying here in Maine that if March comes in like a lion it goes out like a lamb and vice versa. So what do you look at? Temps or snowfall?

In this case we're going for a little bit of both but mostly snow.  Most weather outlets seem to be in agreement that temps will be rising into the low 30's for the start of the month, which is certainly no heat wave. Now add to that the 3-5 more inches of snow in the forecast from Sunday into Monday. Plus more rain and sleet on the coast and we think it's fair to call it a lion start to the month. And if you can put any stock into a 30 day prediction from the Weather Channel by March's end we'll have temps into the 50's by around the 27th.
