Harvest Moon Deli’s Next Location Will Be in Waterville
This will be their 7th location since the original Harvest Moon Deli in Orono in 2007.
And they are already looking at the possibility of more locations.
Zack Richardson Co-Owner and Operator of Harvest Moon Deli about the new Waterville location said
The lease has been signed, the construction has begun
Location #7 will be at 295 Kennedy Memorial Drive in Waterville
The opening is targeted for around Labor Day, but this is 2022, and construction due to supply chain issues is just not the same. So Labor Day may be optimistic, but that is the plan.
This will be the first location in the Augusta-Waterville region, but it won’t be the last.
The company’s plan is much like it was in the Bangor area, where Harvest Moon Deli now has 6 locations.
Expect the same for Augusta & Waterville, as the company follows I 95 South.
Maybe Lewiston-Auburn will follow.
It’s not a company that is planning to sit still. The plan is to keep expanding.
And they might not be finished in the Bangor area either. Zack said they are always on the lookout for commercial space to lease in areas they want to be doing business in.
Harvest Moon Deli is the company that names its sandwiches after song titles. Not exact song titles, but close enough that most recognize the song. For example, this month’s special is Spice Spice Baby.
And the songs and sandwich names come from Zack, and from Employees and even customers. All ideas are welcome. And lots of months a portion of the proceeds is donated to a local charity. Got to love that.
Welcome to Waterville soon.
