I-95 Drive Home Featured Artist [VIDEO]

Tonight’s featured artist while taking a break from touring did some writing with Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics producing a psychedelic sound that was completely new for our artist and the song they co-wrote was a certified hit for tonight’s artist.  Can you guess the artist or psychedelic song??

Let’s start with the song, ‘Don’t Come Around Here No More, making our collaborator Tom Petty. It was back 1983, Petty started working with Dave Stewart. This was the first song they wrote together, and the psychedelic sound was a big departure from Petty's work with The Heartbreakers. Southern Accents was going to be a Tom Petty double album produced by Stewart, but ended up being a Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers single album, with a joint effort with Jimmy Lovine producing some songs and Stewart producing others.
