It's March Bandness and tonight we're pitting Lynyrd Skynyrd against Bad Co., So who is who? One of these band has a hit based on a true story of having a gun pulled on a member and  the other has a hit that was parodied by Weird Al Yankovic. Think you know who is who?  Guesses??

We’ll begin with the parody by Weird Al; ‘Feel Like Throwin’ Up’ the song is poking fun at Bad Company’s ‘Feel Like Makin’ Love’ which was a top 10 hit for Bad Company. ‘Feel Like Makin’Love’ was also covered by several other artists that charted with the song as well. This makes our guy with a gun in his face Ronnie Van Zant of Lynyrd Skynyrd. The song of course is ‘Gimme Three Steps’ which according to Ronnie was based on a real-life experience he had at a biker bar in Florida known as The Pastime, including having a gun pulled on him, and thus inspiring him to write the lyrics on his way home, still running I imagine. So who will take today’s March Bandness?

Here are tonight's songs:

Just for fun...Al's food medley containing 'Feel Like Thowin Up' and several other rock favorites I'm sure you'll recognize.
