Our animal lovers were the boys from ZZ Top. In an interview with in the Studio With Red Beard they told the story of the early years performing at a venue in New Orleans called The Warehouse with their gigs being set up by a company called Beaver Productions owned by Don Fox. The guys were sleeping there in the dressing room and in gratitude gave the Don a 3 legged beaver for Christmas. All seemed well until according to ZZ Top, the he let the beaver loose in The Warehouse and it ate the stage which then collapsed and according to the boys the building was closed down forever.
