Tonight’s mystery band has a hit that VH1 called one of the top 100 rock songs of all time but what really makes it unique is that the background vocals are all sung in Spanish. Think you know the song or the band??

The song is ' The Clash's 'Should I Stay Or Should I Go' According to Wikipedia, the men singing the vocals are a couple of joes, Clash band member Joe Strummer and Joe Ely. Back in 1991 Joe Strummer told the Austin Chronicle this way, "On the spur of the moment I said 'I'm going to do the backing vocals in Spanish,' ... We needed a translator so Eddie Garcia, the tape operator, called his mother in Brooklyn Heights and read her the lyrics over the phone and she translated them. But Eddie and his mum are Ecuadorian, so it's Ecuadorian Spanish that me and Joe Ely are singing on the backing vocals."
