Tonight’s mystery artist I’m thinking you’ll guess in one. Clue 1, His featured song for tonight was released while he was in jail for a DUI and clue 2, although they weren’t married any more his ex-wife opened her concert in 1988 with his song.  Can you guess the artist or song??

I’m thinking you’ve figured out it is Gregg Allman and his ex-wife Cher. So I’ll tell you the song was the title track from his forth solo album ‘I’m No Angel’. Gregg had some real drug and alcohol issues through most of the 80’s hence the truth that he was in jail for three days for DUI when this song was being released.  Allman and Cher were married from ’75 – ’79 and it was Cher of course who opened her 1988 concerts with I’m No Angel’ which I’m sure could have been her theme song as well.
