Tonight’s mystery artists were scheduled to use the same plane the week prior to that plane failing and killing most of the members of Lynyrd Skynyrd. Know who the lucky band is??

I found this by the skin of your teeth story on a site called Anti-Music. The article was actually about the actors chosen for the new biopic coming out about Lynyrd Skynyrd.  The film is based on the memories of the surviving drummer Artimus Pyle. In the movie Steven Tyler and Joe Perry will be portrayed by actors Neil Byrnes and Anthony Rocco. They are a part of the story because as fate would have it back in 1977 Aerosmith was scheduled to be flown in the same plane the week prior but the band’s crew rejected the plane. Story tells they thought both plane and pilots were not to be trusted.
