Tonight’s mystery artist is a self taught guitar player who has been told that he holds the pick in a really strange way when he plays. Think you can guess who he plays for or who he is?? 

I found this small fact about a big guitar player on Ultimate Classis Rock when the interviewed Phil Collen of Def Leppard. Phil told UCR that he is self taught and he has a habit of resting his palm on the strings that is kind of a bad habit. He also told how a fellow musician once pointed out back stage that he hold his guitar pick in a very peculiar way that Phil says he’d never noticed or cared about. Phil loves playing the guitar because he says it lets him cut loose and express his feelings. For that reason he thinks it is important to encourage your kids to play an instrument or do something in the arts.
