I-95 Drive Home Mystery Artist [VIDEO]

Tonight’s mystery artist’s first top ten hit has a song whose title the composer says was inspired from participating in a pillow punching therapy session in Toronto Canada.

Let’s start with the composer.  His name is Eddie Schwartz, and he has written songs that have been recorded by the Doobie Brothers, Donna Summer, Joe Cocker and tonight’s mystery artist Pat Benatar.

The song as you might now guess is ‘Hit Me With Your Best Shot’ which Eddie assures us he meant is metaphorically.

Pat released the song in 1980 and it became her first top 10 hit. Sources say it sold well over a million copies and is now a favorite for baseball and soccer games. And we’ll add Classic Rock Stations.
