Tonight’s mystery artist once had “Play Me Loud’ Etched onto their vinyl versions of an album. Think you know the band or the record you should be turning up??

The album was released in 1986 and was named after the California law enforcement code for a mentally disturbed person, 5150. Making our mystery band Van Halen of course. iHeart radio tells many little known facts about the album. Along with “Play Me Loud” being etched on the records another interesting story is how tensions were so high while producing it at one point the engineer locked himself in the studio and threatened to burn all the tapes if they didn’t smarten up. 5150 is also one only Van Halen album without an instrumental track.

The best selling track from the album is 'Why Can’t This Be Love', tonight’s featured song.
