Tonight’s mystery artist commented recently that every time you hit the stage there’s a possibility of game over at our age.  Think you can guess the rocker that is feeling his years?

I picked that comment up from a Reuters article from last week when they sat down with Roger Daltrey and Pete Townsend of The Who.  Currently on tour and producing a new album Pete says he is grateful he and Roger are still performing.  He added:

Roger and I are very lucky to be alive,” he said. “We’re lucky to be reasonably healthy. We’re lucky that we can still play the music that we grew up with.”

And it is Roger who acknowledged that they won’t go on forever saying:

“One of them’s gonna be (a farewell tour), we might not make the end of this one,” he joked. “Every time you hit the stage there’s a possibility of game over at our age.”

Here they are from not too long ago with tonight's featured song.
