Tonight’s mystery artist in one interview claimed that one of his biggest hits came from a dream he had about walking under the sea. Can you guess the artist or song??

If it were me I’d be thinking something obvious like ‘Octopuses’ Garden’ however, I’d be wrong. The song inspired by the stroll under the sea was dreamed by Jimi Hendrix and called ‘Purple Haze’

Wikipedia cites, it was back in January of 1967, before the song was complete that Jimi was asked his method for song writing to which he answered, “I dream a lot and I put my dreams down as songs. I wrote one called 'First Look Around the Corner' and another called 'The Purple Haze,' which was about a dream I had that I was walking under the sea."
