Tonight’s mystery artist stalled their popularity in the US in the 60’s with a disastrous first tour. Any guess who was luck to get another chance??

This bands first tour in the US back in 1965 according to Need Some Fun  was fraught with erratic bookings and hot tempers between the band members and the musician’s union. All these things effectively kept The Kinks from performing in America for four years. This delay kept them from being a part of Woodstock and flattened the sales of their record in this country. Ouch. Good news is their issues did eventually life and they came to be heralded by Rolling Stone Magazine as number 65 of the greatest 100 artists of all time.

Here they are with tonight's featured song.
