Tonight's mystery artists band name several songs were inspired by a type of psychotherapy. Know who they are??

This idea comes from AXS who cite the popularity of Primal therapy in the ‘70s and ‘80s. This was the inspiration for Tears For Fears naming their band as such. Turns out that both the guys in the band had been exposed to childhood trauma and subsequently the Arthur Janov’s  ‘Primal Scream’ therapy. Band member Roland Orzabal said to People Magazine:

“My father was a bit of a monster, my brothers and I would lie in our room at night crying. I’ve always been distrusting of males since then. “

It was actually his guitar teacher  that introduced Orzabal to “The Primal Scream” and its practices which included therapy that compelled patients to recall repressed memories, and overcomes them via deep grieving and crying.

Here they are with tonight's featured song.
