I-95 Rock And Roll Trivia [MUSIC VIDEO]

Tonight’s mystery artist once told an interviewer that he hit a point with his band that he felt they needed to branch out with some different sounds. Once done though he says that he was scared people wouldn’t understand the new music. Think you know who went outside the box?

I found the old 1985 interview with Tom Petty and Night Flight.(below) back stage while out on their ‘Southern Accents’ tour. Tom said in the interview that he made sure all the songs good, regardless of how different they were to what they had done before. He tells how Dave Stewart helped with the new sound. Tom also explains why having his own home studio was always so important.
