Tonight’s mystery artist wrote one of his earliest songs about being lonely after he moved to the big city. Think you know the song or who this lonely kid was??

Well, the city he had moved to was an apple in decay if that gives you a hint. The song is ‘Long, Long Way from Home’. The lyrics according to Lou Gramm were autobiographical about his move from Rochester to New York City where he would eventually join the band Foreigner. He went on to say that this was the first song that he and Mick Jones worked on together. Wikipedia cites that after its release in 1977 the song charted in both the US and in Canada. Mick added that it is one of his favorite Foreigner tunes still.
