Jolene is like Jo March of Little Women fame in more ways than just the first two letters of their name.

This sweet and spunky coon hound is young and spry, being only 2 years old, and she has a gorgeous coat with auburn highlights around her big brown eyes. The floppy ears and freckle-like spots against her white coat just complete her lively image.

Jolene is as sweet as they come, but she’s also very smart and energetic, and that means she wants to go NOW.  She is good with all kinds of humans but will need someone committed to training her on her leash and manners.

She loves other dogs and has been described as a wag machine. We don’t know how she is with cats yet, but so far, there hasn’t been a mean bone in her body. She is going to brighten any home she goes into!

Call to schedule an appointment to meet with Jolene!  Call (207) 667-8088, or email at info@spcahancockcounty.org.

The SPCA of Hancock County is a no-kill facility, and currently has many cats and dogs available for adoption. It’s located at 141 Bar Harbor Road in Trenton. Donations are always accepted. They will take your returnable bottles as a donation, so please drop them off right there at the shelter.  They're open Wednesday through Sunday 11 AM –5 PM, Closed Monday and Tuesday.
