Check out this great learning event for kids happening virtually by the Bangor Public Library.

Have your kids explore the world virtually by checking out cool destinations with Maryann and the 'Passport Adventures' series.

A weekly video will be published to the Bangor Public Library Facebook page, their YouTube Channel and on the Bangor Public Library website Mondays at 11 AM where your host, Maryann, will be visiting different destinations around the world and sharing cultural information about each destination for your kiddos.

Here's the first video that was put out this week where Maryann takes Passport Adventures to Russia:

She tells you about the country, culture and even gets in on some fun projects including a classic Russian recipe, Blinis.

These adventures are specifically for kids in Kindergarten to 3rd grade and is a great way to have your child see far away places while staying right at home.

Registration includes a a grab and go 'activity bag' which can be picked up weekdays during library hours at the Children's Department.

Twenty spots are available for registration and you can connect with the Bangor Public Library's Children's Department for more information or to register for this fun program.  Contact them through the Bangor Public website or by calling (207) 947-8336.

Check out more 'Passport Adventures' videos on the Bangor Public Library's YouTube page where Maryann takes you to Australia, Switzerland, Brazil, Japan, Italy and Kenya.
