Lily Is One Of The Nicest Cats You’ll Ever Meet
It's amazing that Lily is still at the SPCA of Hancock County.
Tortitude? That might as well be a myth with this sweetheart. Lilly is as nice as can be, so much so that it’s a wonder she hasn’t been adopted already! But alas, no one has asked for this 3-year-old tortoiseshell, and so we are making her our Pet of the Week.
With a short brindle coat and a face that is mostly black except for lovely streaks of beige and red, Lilly is as beautiful as she is sweet. Her eyes are a pretty swirl of yellow on the outside and green in the center. She came to the SPCA with ringworm and has gone through treatment for that until she tested clean, and now she’s ready for her furever home. She’s lived in a home before and knows she wants one again; unfortunately, COVID-19 happened, and here she is.
But it’s what is on the inside that makes Lilly extra special. She’s great with children, dogs, and other cats and is all-around one of the nicest cats you can ever meet. She would adapt well to many lifestyles, so long as she had what she needs and was with someone she loves. Whoever takes Lilly home is sure to have an amazing companion for life.
Due to the spread of COVID-19 in the area, the SPCA of Hancock County is currently closed to the public. But, the animals are still available for adoption. The best thing to do at this point is monitor their WEBSITE, for both animals that are available for adoption, further contact information, and how you can donate to support the SPCA of Hancock County.
Email them at info@spcahancockcounty.org. Call them at (207) 667-8088.
The SPCA of Hancock County is a no-kill facility, and currently has many cats and dogs available for adoption. It’s located at 141 Bar Harbor Road in Trenton. Donations are always accepted. They will take your returnable bottles as a donation, so please drop them off!
