Midnight Snack Has Been At The SPCA For A Year & It’s Time To Go Home
Hey, everyone's up for a snack at midnight! That's always a special treat.
Midnight Snack would like to end the year as a special spotlight Pet of the Week! January will mark her one-year anniversary with the SPCA of Hancock County, and we would love to celebrate it by seeing her going off to a wonderful forever home!
Midnight Snack is a mature black cat with a distinct look, thanks to her folded right ear. If her gorgeous golden eyes don’t captivate, her sweet personality will! She loves humans of all ages and is good with children.
She’s almost 11 years old, and people have passed on her because of her chronic tummy problems, but this sweetie tries her best and has improved some in foster care.
She is willing to cohabit with other cats and dogs, though she prefers plenty of space and slow introductions to them. Despite her chronic health concern, she is still quite independent and ready to adore a family of her own.

It’s been nearly a year since her owner passed away and she came to the SPCA in search of a second chance. Could you open up your home for this sweet kitty?
The SPCA of Hancock County serves Ellsworth, Mount Desert Island and beyond, and is still operating by appointment only for the safety of the animals, as well as visitors and staff. If you are looking to adopt, please check their website where they have an adoption application and the available animals listed. For general inquiries, please call them at 207-667-8088, email info@spcahancockcounty.org, or send them a Facebook message. The shelter is located on Route 3 in Trenton.
