This past year, 3,067,112 people visited Maine State Parks in an effort to get out of the house during the nasty COVID-19 pandemic and enjoy some clean fresh air.

Yes, Maine State Parks are gaining in popularity, and for good reason.  Our State Parks are well run and taken care of, and great places for a picnic, a swim, to explore nature, and to camp out.

The Maine Bureau of State Parks and Lands’ reservations system and call center will open for business this Monday, February 1st, for ONLY the Sebago Lake State Park campground.  They'll begin to accept calls at 9 in the morning.

For other all the other 12 great Maine State Parks like Lamoine, Cobscook Bay, and Camden Hills, those campsite reservations will begin to be accepted on Friday, February 5th at 9 a.m.  The State accepts calls until 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

Call this #: In Maine: 800-332-1501; Outside of Maine: (207) 624-9950; TTY: Call Maine Relay 711.  You may also use this email address:  campground.reservations@maine.gov

The State informs us that there will be no new fee increases for this year!  Campsite fees vary depending on location and what you need.  Family camping fees in Lamoine are $20 per night, plus a $5 reservation fee, for a Maine resident. Reserve a site with both water and electrical hook-ups like those in Camden Hills and the cost is $25 per night plus a $5 reservation fee for Maine residents.

The State has also provided online maps for all of their State Parks so that you can pick out the camp site that is most desirable to you.
