Maine’s Most Popular Ski Mountains Open For Business

Ain't nothing like the thrill of haulin' butt down a snowy mountain!

Both mountains have benefited from recent natural snowfall, and there's with more to come later this week!  They've also added up to ten inches of man made snow as well, so things are looking good for both skiers and snowboarders!

Sunday River Ski Resort in Newry officially opened for the season this past Friday.  Currently, there are six trails and one lift open there.

Sugarloaf mountain in Carrabasset Valley will open this Friday, and as of today their site is reporting a ten-inch base of snow.
