Red Cross To Hold Emergency Blood Drive Thursday

The Red Cross contacted us with an emergency request for blood donations from Maine residents.

The blood supply has hit a critical low prompting a blood drive to be held at the Cross Insurance Center Thursday from 12 noon to 5 pm.

They are looking to collect 30 pints and will be providing Dunkin gift cards and long sleeved Red Cross t-shirts to donors.  You can click here to make an appointment, call 941-2900, 1-800-Red Cross, or just walk in.

And if for any reason you can donate but not tomorrow you can always donate at the American Red Cross office located at 600 B Hammond Street in Bangor.
