Sears In Ellsworth To Close Soon

Our hometown Sears store is closing.

What a bummer, we love this store!  We loved it when it was on Main Street.  We loved it when it was in the Mill Mall, and we loved it where it stands today, on the side of Route 1/Downeast Highway in Ellsworth.

The "store closing" signs appeared on the side of the road this past week and unfortunately what they say pans out to be true, as the same message is posted on the Ellsworth Sears Hometown Store Facebook page.

The store closing sale happens until July 23rd, so we presume that the business will officially close soon there after.
