Southern Belle Pepper our SPCA of Hancock County Pet of the Week
Pepper is a very sweet girl, who is in need of a loving home.
She is a black beauty who loves everyone that she comes across. This girl is about two years old, and have we mentioned what a total sweetie she is? Of course we have, well it's true!
Pepper was part of the transfer of cats that arrived from down south in Georgia, and we don’t know much about her backstory, although her purr may have a southern drawl to it and she may have a hankering to climb a peach tree if given the opportunity.

When she came into the care of the very fine folks at the SPCA of Hancock County, she was completely ready to go and was even “immune” to the upper respiratory colds that a lot of the Georgia cats got from their travels.
She is one of the only new kitties that hasn't got much attention, so of course we'd like to see that change soon with adoption. Pepper has not been tested with dogs, as there currently aren't any at the shelter. She has informed the staff that she would prefer to be the only cat in her new home, she wants all the love and attention to herself!
Pepper is very playful, a true kitten at heart. She likes catnip toys, toys on a wand, and toy mice, kind of a toy freak am I right?! In short, Pepper is a very loving cat, who loves to play and loves attention, she’d be the perfect fit in most homes. Let's get this perfect girl into a home.
If you have an interest in adopting Pepper, then please make an appointment to stop by the SPCA of Hancock County to meet her. The shelter is located on Route 3 in Trenton.
