According to Maine Public Safety Spokesperson, Shannon Moss, Mahlon Prebsy has been located and found to be safe.


 

Authorities are looking for a man from Phillips who was last seen leaving his home on his way to a relative's house Tuesday.

A Silver Alert was issued for 75-year-old Mahlon Presby of Phillips Tuesday afternoon after he failed to show up at his niece’s house on Rangely Road in Avon.

According to Maine Public Safety Spokesperson, Shannon Moss, Presby was last seen heading in the direction of his niece's place.

"Presby was last seen February 7, 2023, at 12:30 am, reportedly heading from his apartment on Shadagee lane in Phillips...Presby is driving a 2009 green Chevy Cobalt with Maine license plate 8541XW. Presby who suffers from cognitive issues is a white male, 5’08”, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a Yahama snowmobile jacket, black jeans, LL Bean boots, and a camouflage hat."
