WATCH Amish Barn Raising In Fort Fairfield, Maine
Truly amazing efficiency and craftsmanship!
Yes, this is how it's done. Neighbor helping neighbor. Just like the old days. Only the "old days" are happening today.
The Amish community is building a barn in Fort Fairfield today. This has happened before in that area, most memorably, back in 2015, when it took them a little over a day to build an entire barn!
Watch the video for awhile, and you'll see a horse drawn cart bring the wood to the job site. You don't hear any electric saws or drills here, just good old fashioned hammering. Quite impressive.
Here in Maine, the Amish have communities in Fort Fairfield and Symrna in Aroostook County, and also in the Unity area.
