Wednesday Bar Harbor Power Outage Reported By Emera Maine

Over 2500 Emera Maine customers are without power today, Wednesday, June 21st, in the Bar Harbor area.

The  cause of the power outage is a fallen tree.  Emera Maine reported the incident at 8:47AM. Crews have been dispatched to make repairs on the electrical system there.

The areas affected are:  Cottage Street, Eden Street, Main Street and surrounding areas.

People are reminded to never go near or touch a downed power line.
