If you made a New Year's Resolution to get yourself into any other shape but round in the year 2021, you are not alone. In fact, among those Americans surveyed about their resolutions this year, to "lose weight and exercise more" was on the top of a majority of our lists!

And while we all want to lose our "2020 comfort-food, zoom-call, pandemic pounds", a majority of us say we lack the motivation to do so!

One thing that might help with the effort to melt those muffin-tops is music.

Rock My Run asked a bunch of folks about their goal to get in shape, and "65% of respondents said they had 'no motivation' to exercise without their workout music."

They polled their peeps and put together a list of the Top 50 Work Out Songs of All Time, and the top 3 just happen to be great Classic Rock Songs:

  1. “We Will Rock You,” Queen
  2. “Eye of the Tiger,” Survivor
  3. “Welcome to the Jungle,” Guns N’ Roses

We decided  to do our own little informal poll and ask you what's top on your Workout Playlist this year.

Here are a few that you came up with:

Jeremy Dubay If you want blood you got it AC/DC. Great opening
Justin Choiniere Running on empty -Jackson Browne. Always remember Forrest Gump pushing through!
Jason L'Heureux “Eye of the Tiger “ by Survivor. An oldie but a goodie.
Greg Miller Not classic rock, classic country ... Waylon Jennings "ain't living long like this"
Cheryl McManus Gonna make you sweat by CC & the Music Factory
Angela Faulkner Duff What makes you beautiful- One Direction
Personally, some of the tunes that have been known to get this gal up and goin' are:
Eurythmics, Sweet Dreams
Elvis Costello, Pump It Up
David Bowie, Golden Years
Led Zeppelin, Immigrant Song
AC/DC, Back In Black.
Got any of your own to add to the list?
