A brand new Harris Interactive survey reveals what folks think the perfect age to be is.  The question that they asked was:  "If you could skip time and live forever in good health at a particular age, what age would you like to live at?

Here's the average answers:

Men:  47

Woman:  53

Harris polled 2, 242 adults this past July, and according to its website, 'the perfect age appears to be 50. It's an age many fear, but it's also the average age Americans would like to live at if they could skip time and live forever in good health at a particular age".

Experts say that 50 is the perfect time to retire (yeah, right), because the kids have moved out of the house and people are likely healthy enough to enjoy the disposable income they most likely have by that age, (yeah, right).

According to results from the Harris survey, people said the perfect age to retire is 61 years old, (like that's going to happen).

My questions to you today are....."What's the best part of being in your 50s?  What's the worst?  And, what do you think the perfect age is?

I think the best part of being in your fifties is having "alone time" with your spouse. Growing close to each other again, doing different things with each other, hopefully enjoying good health and tackling life's turmoil together. Which brings up the worst part, caring for aging parents, the hardest and most important thing that any child can do.

I think that the perfect age to be is somewhere in your early 30s, where life is exciting and you're bringing up your kids!
