The owner of a lost duck in Belfast has reclaimed her.

Yesterday, police in Belfast captured a duck waddling through the city streets.  Due to its appearance, cops there believed that the deserted duckling was a pet.

According to the Belfast Police Department's Facebook page, the lost quacker was found shaking its tailfeathers on Spring Street, and they were surprised that no one  has called to claim ownership.

A recent post on the Department's Facebook page by Zane Bielenberg says this, "She was mine. She is a adolescent indian runner female with a crest in her head. I picked her up last night, and she's doing great. She ran away because of a fox attack. She was the lucky one, others were not as lucky."
