Daisy is a beautiful long-haired tortoiseshell cat and she has been at the SPCA of Hancock County for three months now.

Her long-time owner of 10 years surrendered her for having accidents outside of her litter box, but thankfully the smart folks at the SPCA have figured out that Daisy is kind of bashful and will only use a covered litter box. Since the switch, she has had no accidents whatsoever.

Daisy just loves to explore and to talk to anyone who will listen! She is a large cat weighing more than 12 pounds, which leads everyone to believe that she may have some Maine Coon cat in her. Although her stripes may not show through her black cream coat her orange markings are strikingly beautiful, matching her golden eyes perfectly.

Daisy prefers to be the queen of her household so we suggest a home without other animals where she can be such.  Daisy will not want to be in a house that will coddle her, she is very independent and will love you on her own terms when she feels like it.

Yes, she really desires to be the the queen of her household!
