YouTube Series ‘Surviving Maine’ Set For February Debut
Beginning in February, we'll see who can outwit, outplay, and outlast in the woods of Maine.
Consider it the Maine version of the CBS show Survivor. Surviving Maine follows the same format as the popular CBS TV show. Contestants will have to survive not only the elements woods of Fairfield, but also tribal councils, tough challenges, and the jury.
The show was shot in May of 2019, and will debut on Youtube as a series. Episode "I Must Have Been Due For an Oil Change" is set to premiere Wednesday, Feb. 10, at 7 p.m. Additional episodes will air the following Wednesdays. What to expect from the show was released as a promo back in December.
The 19 person cast is divided into two tribes, Skidder and Lombard. The show will begin with Lombard tribe at a one man disadvantage, as one of their team members dropped out of the show at the last minute. Get to know the cast in the video above.
Back in the winter of 2019, producers sought potential cast members via an application process. The season was shot between May 30 and June 2, 2019.
