Maggie is a kitty who knows what she likes, and isn’t afraid to tell you about it!

Maggie loves snack time! She's learned very quickly that snack time is between 4 and 5 pm for the cats at the shelter, and wakes up from her afternoon nap and starts watching the folks there at the SPCA of Hancock County starting at 3:30. As soon as she sees someone coming with a treat container, she stretches, yawns, and begins to meow at us insistently. Then she purrs while she eats her treats!

Maggie may seem shy because she likes to sleep in a cubby, but don’t worry! All it takes to make friends with her is a few moments and a treat or two. She's friendly and affectionate. She is 2-3 years old, and gets along well with other cats.

Call the shelter at (207) 667-8088 to schedule a meeting, or just drop by!
