An Outside Glow Party Planned For This Year’s Pinnaclefest 2023
If you're in Pittsfield, Pinnacle Park is a definite spot to hit up tonight (Friday) as there's an evening full of family fun planned. And it's all free!
According to one of the event organizers, Lindsay Holstrom (there's a whole team working on this) they're going to have all sorts of fun, for both young and old.
"We are so happy to be able to do it this year and can’t wait to celebrate with the community, the Pinnacle is a true gem!"
Holstrom says this year, they're changing things up a bit, shifting events to later in the afternoon and evening, to accommodate this year's theme: Let's GLOW crazy!
"We will have outdoor fire pits with a hotdog bar and s'more bar and skating and skiing activities. There will be a themed photo booth inside and out, yummy kid-friendly food, a glow room, glow face painting, and fun music."
Holstrom says organizers are hoping that the timing of this year's festival will work out so that more people will be able to take part in the event.
"We are super pumped as this is the first time we have done a night celebration. It falls on Friday 2/24 at the end of school vacation so we hope to have lots of families. It's free admission and donations are welcome to support the skating and ski hill groups. "
Holstrom says the event is a collaboration between the town's skating group and ski hill group, Pinnacle Ski Club, which use the Park regularly.
