Beautiful Jemma Still Waits For Her Forever Home
Can you believe that our SPCA Pet of the Week has been waiting for over 8 months now?
Queen bee Jemma is a 60 lbs. Pittie mix with a gorgeous tiger-striped brindle coat and has been in foster care since life in the shelter with all those other animals and people was too much for her nerves, but she’s been a doll for her foster family.
She loves her toys and her people!
She’s good on a leash and is house trained, and she’s only 3 years old. This nervous but loving girl just needs an adult-only household that will let her be an only pet, and she promises to fill that home with love and joy.
Call the SPCA shelter at (207) 667-8088 to schedule a meeting, or just drop by!
The SPCA of Hancock County is a no-kill facility, and currently has many cats and dogs available for adoption. It’s located at 141 Bar Harbor Road in Trenton. It’s open Wednesdays through Sundays between 11 AM – 5 PM. Donations are always accepted. They will take your returnable bottles as a donation, so please drop them off!
