They don't often see Goldendoodles at the SPCA of Hancock County, but right now they just happen to have one who's looking for a home!

His name is Barnaby, and he sure is a cute young pup!

Adoptable dog Barnaby is a Goldendoodle, and he's also a big puppy at 11 months old and 70+ lbs. He's not done growing, and certainly not done maturing either. Barnaby loves to play - he'll play with just about anything.  And by the way, he has a hard time telling apart what items you're going to try to take away from him, and what items you're happy for him to play with, so watch out for that!

He's looking for a home with someone who is:

  • Willing to puppy proof areas he has access to (to prevent him from further practicing inappropriate item-snatching).
  • Willing to slowly work with training him to ignore inappropriate items.

Barnaby is looking for a home with children 13+, no cats, and as an added bonus, he may be willing to have a doggie sibling!  Stop by and introduce yourself!
