Three year-old Blueberry is a white cat with black splotches and stunning green eyes! She’s full of sweetness and light, just like a pie made of wild Maine blueberries.

Her beautiful long fur was matted when she first arrived at the shelter, and we’re sure that made her uncomfortable. She was such a good girl when they trimmed her, and her haircut turned out great! That was a few weeks ago, now, and her fur has grown almost all the way back in.

This sugary kitty is friendly, curious, and looking for a home!  The folks at the shelter have been wondering when her forever family will walk in the door - maybe you’re the one she’s waiting for?

By the way, the artwork shown above is by local artist T & Z Pawtraits, and the original is available to go home with Blueberry when she is adopted.

The SPCA of Hancock County is a no-kill facility, and currently has many cats and dogs available for adoption.  It’s located at 141 Bar Harbor Road in Trenton.  It’s open , Thursdays through Sundays between 11 AM – 5 PM.
