Super-star animals are coming to Maine.

The iconic Budweiser Clydesdales will be hoofing it Rockland soon. The horses and traditional red beer wagon will make sever appearances around town.

The first gig for the eight horses is at the Rockland Elks Club from 1-3PM Wednesday, July 29, for a public viewing. The Rockland Elks Club is located at 201 Rankin Street.

The next day (Thursday, July 30) the horses will be at work on Main Street in Rockland to make beer deliveries from 6-8PM.

The grand finale will be their participation in the Maine Lobster Festival Parade, which starts at 10AM, on Saturday August 1. The parade steps off at Oceanside High School East and proceeds down North Main Street, south on Main Street and ends at the festival in Harbor Park.

The Clydesdales make hundreds of appearances annually around the country.
